Beijing Court Rules in Favor of Justin Sun in Defamation Case
The Beijing Internet Court has ruled in favor of TRON founder Justin Sun in a six-year defamation case against Beijing SINA Internet Information Service Co. Ltd, the operator of finance.sina.com. The court determined that allegations published by Sina from 2017 to 2022, accusing Sun of insider trading and being under investigation by the IRS and FBI, were false. The verdict, issued on December 31, 2024, was not appealed by Sina by the February 26, 2025 deadline.

TRON (TRX) has seen a significant increase in USDT (TRC-20) transfers, reinforcing its position as the leading blockchain for stablecoin transactions. Data from CryptoQuant reveals that $11.4 billion worth of USDT has been transferred, with $1.83 billion sent to major centralized exchanges (CEXs). TRON has processed 1.89 million total transactions, making it a popular network for stablecoin transactions due to its efficiency and low transaction fees. The share of inflows through exchange (6.17%) underscores the importance of USDT transactions on TRON for market liquidity. Despite a 4.11% decline over the last 24 hours, TRX was trading at $0.2336 at press time, with a market capitalization of $20.12 billion.
